About Us
What is the Dwarves Keep, you ask?
This is a safe space for gamers to access resources and voice suggestions. Our mission is to engage and support gamers on their various campaigns and quests. To that end, the GM of the Realm works hard to maintain this site as a purposeful space for all. Our website address is: https://dwarveskeep.com. (Bookmark it!)
Our Back Story
Where on Earth did the Dwarves Keep come from?
Well, the Dwarves Keep isn’t just some underground society. (The name could suggest this, but it’s really an homage to our Dwarven allies, whom we very much admire.) Read more about our History, won’t you?
Behave Yourself
What’s kosher around here?
Two words: Be kind. You really must review our guidelines to ensure that you properly interact on our website. Please take a few minutes to read our Terms and Conditions.
The Nitty Gritty
Need to know more about how we handle your particulars? This is the section for you. Enjoy!
Security of your information
We take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Unfortunately, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot absolutely ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we do not accept liability for unauthorized disclosure.
By using our site or providing personal information to us, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of the site. If we learn of a security breach related to your personal information, we may attempt to notify you electronically by posting a notice on our site or by email.
Children’s information
Children under 16 years old may not comment on our site, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you learn that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact the GM of the Realm immediately. If we learn that we have collected a child’s personal information in violation of applicable law, we will promptly take steps to delete such information.
Comments
When a visitor leaves a comment anywhere on the site (e.g. Gazette) we collect the comment as well as the commentor’s IP address and browser user agent string. This helps with spam detection.
In addition, an anonymized string created from a commentor’s email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service or others to see if the commentor is using such services. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of a comment, the commentor’s profile picture is visible to others in the context of the comment (e.g. public visibility for public comments).
Comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as it would on the other website directly.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. If you complete a form, poll, or quiz, we retain the data for as long as needed.

If you’ve left a comment or filled out a form on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Requests will be considered on an individual basis.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy at our sole discretion. If we make any material changes to our policies, we will notify you as required by applicable law. You understand and agree that you will be deemed to have accepted the updated Privacy Policy if you continue to use our site after the new Privacy Policy takes effect.
We all fumble sometimes
Data sharing is complex, worse than your GM after a terrible day with low blood sugar while aching for caffeine. If you notice that your data is being shared or collected in a way you did not anticipate, please reach out to the GM of the Realm immediately.
